Rainbow Creek Birds - A Photo Essay

Rainbow Creek is a nature photographers paradise. It’s one of our favourite ways to explore and enjoy this land. Sometimes, we intentionally take time to wander and photograph the orchids, birds and animals we see, other times, its a mad dash to get the camera before some elusive creature disappears - like the time a juvenile Goshawk landed in the wisteria, 10 meters from the bedroom window of the main house.
